The Family Studies-Home Economics Teachers' Association of Ontario was incorporated on December 17, 1977, under the provision of the Corporations Act of The Province of Ontario, and a Supplementary Letters Patent dated April 2, 1982, renamed this Association, the Ontario Family Studies-Home Economics Educators' Association. Hereafter the Ontario Family Studies-Home Economics Educators' Association will be referred to as the Association, or OFSHEEA.
